Annabelle Gurwitch

Annabelle Gurwitch was an American actress, comedian and television host. She is most well-known for her work as hostess of Dinner and a Movie (TBS) and environmentalist who was a part of secular humanism as well as environmental concerns. Annabelle Gurwitch, a New York Times Best-Seller author as well as a highly acclaimed actress, is the New York Times's Bestselling author of her memoirs: Whatever You're Doing, Then I'm Sure That You Did An Effort Said Tomato When you say Fired, I Speak Shut Up And Fired. which was in turn part of a Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch is a former host of TBS Dinner & a Movie is a favorite among viewers of television for her memorable appearances in Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown. Also, she hosted the sustainability series WA$TED at The Planet Green Network. There are regular appearances on PBS Newhour Real Time, on NPR and in the Hollywood Reporter. In addition to writing op eds she also creates satires which are published in The New Yorker WSJ The Hollywood Reporter.
